Head of Information Strategy, Jisc
David Reeve is an experienced Information Manager who has
worked in both the public and private sectors. He formerly worked at Dorset
County Council delivering the information management agenda. Since 2015 he has
been Head of Information Strategy Jisc, the digital technology company that
supports the HE and FE sector. He has developed a new Enterprise
Information Strategy for the company focussing on information management, data
governance and compliance. His team are now rolling out a number of key projects
across the company to bring about transformational change through the
information strategy including news ways of working with Office 365 and
SharePoint; the introduction of workflow to automate routine process; the
introduction of an information asset register; a data governance programme to
improve data quality and processes in our core systems; a new data protection
policy and guidance; online data protection training and The introduction of the new EU GDPR. He is also a well-known
