Jo Moorshead

Standards and Assessment Manager, The National Archives

A qualified information and records manager and history graduate, Jo Moorshead has worked at The National Archives for over 13 years. She has worked ina variety of government facing roles and has particular expertise in the management of digital information and appraisal and selection of government records for permanent preservation. Her current role is as Standards and Assessment Manager helping to run the National Archives Information Management Assessment programme which aims to raise standards in information management across government.

Jo previously worked at The Imperial War Museum where she was responsible for collecting new recorded material for their world renowned sound archive and for the promotion of the collection through publications and online exhibitions.
