Senior Records Manager, University of Westminster
Rebecca Short is the Senior Records Manager at the University of Westminster in London. She received her BA in History at the University of York, and her MA in Archives and Records Management at University College London. She has previously worked for the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA) and Historic Royal Palaces.
Using two case studies, this session explores how the University of Westminster is embedding records management processes as part of business as usual. Firstly, through a recently completed project relating to the digitisation of HR records, which led to significant changes in business process. And secondly, through a current project to encourage behavioural change around unstructured digital records, involving a move to Microsoft SharePoint.
