We understand that these are extraordinary times and there is a natural concern from all delegates and exhibitors at Conference, this year, with regards to their personal safety.  With this in mind we have worked very hard with the venue, and other suppliers, to go above and beyond the Government guidelines to ensure the safety of all our delegates and stakeholders.  So these measures outlined below are in addition to our standard COVID secure policy.

EXTRA SPACE FOR CONFERENCE

Most importantly of all we have more than doubled the overall Conference room space for the event.  The Hotel have now provided two very large Ballrooms (plus larger Breakout rooms).  So we are able to put the Conference in one Ballroom and the Exhibition (Information Marketplace) in the other.  This will ensure that Social Distancing can be observed throughout the event.

Plus we will be introducing a one way system, encouraging social distancing in all areas and have visible crowd management across all aspects of the conference including the social events.

Our Information Marketplace will have 'Safe Chat Zones' enabling you to still continue to have business discussions throughout the duration of Conference in a safe manner. Plus a one-way system for traffic flow in Exhibition area – with separate exits and entrances.

AGENDA AND TIMINGS

In line with this extra space we have also amended the event timings to give more time for delegates to move from room to room for Catering, Keynote and Breakout sessions.  Plus, this will allow us extra time to carry out the additional cleaning routines between sessions – see below.

HILTON CLEAN ROUTINE AND REVOLUTION CLEAN TEAM

The Hilton Birmingham Metropole have their own Event specific safety and clean policy, please view it by clicking here.

In addition we will be employing additional specialist cleaners to ensure all key touchpoints are regularly sanitised throughout the day and evenings. Breakout and Keynote rooms will be cleaned between sessions.  Where possible doors will be kept open to allow for increased ventilation.  Plus all rooms will be sanitised using fogging technology at the end of each day.

Please do wash your hands where possible and avoid handshakes and exchanging of business cards. Remember you can utilise the app for contact free networking. Hand sanitiser will be readily available at many points throughout the whole venue.

HILTON HOTEL BEDROOMS - CLEANSTAY POLICY

Hilton Hotels have implemented rigorous cleaning standards across all their properties.  So you can be sure your bedroom has been cleaned to the highest standard and once cleaned it is sealed off prior to your arrival.

Hilton bedrooms have an especially high level of cleaning.  Hilton has partnered with RB, makers of Lysol® & Dettol®*, to help deliver an even cleaner stay for their guests with the creation of the Hilton CleanStay program. Please click here to see a short video about their policy.

MASK POLICY

In accordance with current UK law, masks must be worn during conference apart from when eating/drinking. If speakers can ensure an adequate distance from their audience they do not have to wear a mask whilst speaking.

SAFE FOOD AND DRINK POLICY

Working closely with the Hilton the catering will be served in individual portions – as opposed to Buffet style. Dietary requirements if stated have been taken into account.  An example of the lunch Bento box is shown below.

The Hilton Birmingham Metropole is easily accessible by train and car. The hotel is a short walk from the train station (Birmingham International Station) and most of the walk is outside. Please note that if you are driving there is a car parking charge.
