Keynote: A Path to Progress: Navigating ICO’s Data Strategy and Data Governance Journey

In 2024, the ICO launched its first Enterprise Data Strategy with its vision to be an “exemplar of responsible innovation using data”.  In this session, Kevin Parry (Director of Data) will explain the journey that the ICO took to establish its data strategy, sharing some success stories, and lessons learnt, over the past twelve months.  Kevin will also particularly focus on the approach that the ICO are taking towards implementing a new data governance initiative, and how we are looking to bring this together with an already established information capability within the organisation.
