Operationalizing Practical Machine Learning

In digital spaces, it is significantly more complicated to manage and process records. We knew we had to leverage technology to help manage the exponentially increasing volume of computer files. That began our two-year+ journey to create an end-to-end digital records management framework, using machine learning models, to create the many workflows needed to collect, manage, destroy, or preserve the foundation’s records.

We have decreased processing time from weeks to days and consistently find that around 60% of the files in a single collection are eligible for destruction. This has saved us time, and money and significantly reduced organisational risk.
