The IG Lifebelt

It would be nice if life as an IG professional was a smooth sail on a calm sea. But everywhere you steer, you’ll encounter storms and sharks. In this session, I’ll talk about how to plot a course through ignorance, isolation and resistance from shipmates who want to head into choppy waters. Instead of sinking, I’ll tell you how to keep your head above water with persuasion techniques and selling the benefits of mending the sails and waterproofing the hull. And if it doesn’t work, we’ll talk about when it’s right to jump ship.

Delegates won’t just be inundated with a flood of self-indulgent maritime references (I have a robust list of useful strategies for IG pros who feel out of their depth) but I don’t think you can do a proper nautical-themed conference without inviting some pirates.
