I lead on information asset management and information security, establishing policies, processes and frameworks to support good information assurance practice within the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities. Having experienced working in local government, schools, the police and central government, I’ve learned that no matter where I’m implementing information governance, simply hosting open, honest conversations about the benefits and challenges of good IG (preferable over a cuppa and a biscuit) is my most valuable tool.
