Justine Rainbow is the Head of Evidence Management at the COVID-19 Public Inquiry. She has some twenty years’ experience of working with and in the inquiries community, stretching as far back as the Hutton Inquiry in 2004. She started her career with The National Archives, before managing the Review Team in the Home Office. In 2009 she began working alongside the Hillsborough Independent Panel and has been engaged on inquiries ever since, with eight years spent at the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse. Working in these environments has led to an interest in how we prepare and support individuals who regularly handle distressing material in pressured and fast-paced environments.
