Information Management Modernisation Lead, Department for Transport

A qualified archives and records manager, Amy joined the Department for Transport in the Records Management team in 2017. She is currently leading on the rollout of a SharePoint records management solution and digital change programme as part of the Department’s Information Management Modernisation Project. Amy recently qualified as a PROSCI Change Management Practitioner, and has been responsible for helping to shape the programme’s digital change management strategy. Amy previously worked at The National Archives as Collections Knowledge Officer, FOI Manager, and then 20-year rule Project Manager, where she was responsible for implementing new systems for monitoring public-record transfers to ‘Places of Deposit’ under the Public Records Act. This work included leading on the delivery of the annual Record Transfer Report, which monitored the compliance of 1400 public sector organisations, and designing the e-Learning programme for prison, hospital and court staff on record transfer processes and information management good practice.
