Records Manager, Police Scotland
I have a BA in History from the Pennsylvania State University, a PgDip in Scottish History from the University of St. Andrews and an MSc in Information Management and Preservation from the University of Glasgow. I have been working as a records management professional in the UK public sector for over nine years. My first two positions were with local authorities, Middlesbrough Council and Renfrewshire Council, before becoming Records Manager for Police Scotland in October 2017. My career thus far has afforded the opportunities to work on implementing an Enterprise Content Management System, working on Records Management Plans in compliance with the Public Records (Scotland) Act 2011 and advising a project migrating network shares and mailboxes across 10 networks to a single network.
