"Kirsten Hylan is the Records Manager at St George’s, University of London (SGUL), a specialist health institution located in South West London. An experienced information specialist, Kirsten has previously worked for organisations in Melbourne and London including, Ernst & Young, Iron Mountain for ExxonMobil, the Medical Defence Union, and Sodexo for GSK. These roles covered records management, knowledge management, business research, and library management, providing Kirsten with a strong overview of information management objectives and how the different elements support and complement each other. Kirsten is SGULs first Records Manager and during her time in the role has developed and implemented a records management framework including all processes, procedures, and related documentation to support robust long-term records management practices across SGUL, provides training to staff on all aspects of records management, and has advocated for and developed a digital preservation program."
