Paul Gibbons has nearly 25 years of information management experience in organisations including the UK Parliament, the Greater London Authority, Pfizer, and in the NHS, local government and higher education. Best known for his FOIMan blog, he also writes for the Freedom of Information Journal and has featured in the Daily Telegraph, Times Higher Education and on BBC Radio. He is the author of The Freedom of Information Officer’s Handbook, published by Facet Publishing at the end of 2018. Paul has been delivering training courses and providing consultancy for a diverse range of organisations in data protection, freedom of information and other subjects for the last 6 years. Previous clients include the Isle of Man Government, UK government bodies, the Association of Colleges, several London Boroughs, and Kings College London. Paul has a Masters in Archives Administration from Aberystwyth University and a legal Masters with distinction in Information Rights, Law and Practice from Northumbria University.
