Self confessed information governance control freak….

Strong information governance professional with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Information and Records Management from Northumbria University and practical experience of all aspects of information governance to a senior level including data protection, records management and information security.

Worked as a Data Protection Officer and IG lead with responsibility for both Freedom of Information and Subject Access under both Scottish and English/UK regimes.

Now full time in consultancy, working with clients to create good data and information governance frameworks in the context of their organisational legal, statutory and policy requirements, and embedding that into technology information architecture as required.

A demonstrated history of working in government both national and local, in the regulatory, law enforcement, intelligence and care sectors.
