Andrew Button

Andrew is Head of Information and Data Governance at Ofcom, where he leads work on data, information and artificial intelligence governance. He works closely with multidisciplinary teams to design governance frameworks, review data assets, and embed assurance into the lifecycle of data‑ and AI‑enabled initiatives. He has a strong background in data governance, information management and organisational change, and regularly advises senior leaders on managing risk while unlocking the value of data and AI in complex regulatory environments.
