Crossing the Streams: Integrating Information and Data Management and Governance

In a fast-moving information and data world it is now even more important to have firm information and data foundations so organisations can drive business transformation and harness the best from the likes of AI and data analytics.

However, one of the major stumbling blocks is a siloed mentality that sees data and information treated differently by separate information and data teams, much to the detriment of the organisation.

Daragh and David have recently been “crossing the streams” to produce an integrated information and data governance framework that they have applied to a national utility company in Ireland.  They will described how and what they have achieved in driving data and information transformation.
