I am a Records and Documents Officer based in the KIM team, I’m a qualified records management practitioner & FOI practitioner. My career began at HM Land Registry in 2017 with a migration project from shared drives to SharePoint, I was an ant in front of a mountain of a digital heap on shared drives. I went back to the future to see what we as an organisation had to do to get digital transfer ready. My journey began with a TNA digital transfer course through to project status and finally development of a BAU process for TDR from shared drives. This led to a culture change within the organisation and the reliance on shared drives, initially from 30 new folder request each month to virtually zero. My current focus is TDR from the cloud – SharePoint, we will be the first department to test the TNA app for cloud-based transfers.
