Moving Mountains: Tackling the Digital Heap

I joined HM Land Registry in 1983 and became the Departmental Records Officer (DRO) in 2009. Along with looking after our records I help with freedom of information and subject access requests. When Head Office moved out of Central London, I took over the history of the Land Registry, including the archive and a small museum.
After tackling our paper records the KIM Team started to look at our digital records starting with the shared drives. Working with our IT department, we developed a process for managing the records.
