Formerly known as the Conference Fringe, The IRMS Exchange is a relaxed, welcoming space designed to help you settle in, switch off after your journey, and ease yourself into the conference atmosphere. Join us from 16:00 to grab a cuppa, start networking, and get the conversations flowing.

Do you want to get something off your chest, find out what others are working on, get to know some of your fellow delegates, or simply unwind? This informal session is the perfect opportunity to connect with peers, meet new faces, and feel part of the IRMS community from the very start.

If it’s your first time attending or you’re coming along solo, don’t worry. Our friendly faces will be there to greet you, make introductions, and help you feel right at home.

Step into an unforgettable evening of celebration at the IRMS Gala Dinner & Industry Awards on Monday evening. Get ready for a night of glamour as delegates and sponsors come together to recognise excellence and achievement across the information management community.

Set against an immersive forest-inspired backdrop, the evening will transport you into a truly special setting where you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner, the presentation of this year’s prestigious Industry Awards, and plenty of time to relax, connect, and celebrate with peers.

Guiding us through the night will be the legendary Brian Blessed, hosting the evening with his unmistakable voice and captivating storytelling, bringing humour, warmth, and unforgettable tales to the heart of the celebration.

Inspired by the timeless beauty and mystique of Celtic woodlands, we invite guests to wear formal attire that feels comfortable and confident. Options might include tuxedos, suits, gowns, jumpsuits, or elegant cocktail wear. Rich jewel tones, greens, and subtle nature-inspired touches will complement the evening beautifully.

The theme is interpretative rather than costume-based, so there’s no need to buy anything new – just wear what makes you feel your best. Participation in the theme is optional, but smart dress is appreciated for all guests.
