Curating Your Past to Navigate Your Future
As one of the teachers of the L4 DP & IG Apprenticeship programme for England, we spend a large part of that programme on soft skills. Managing stakeholders, risk management, change management, programme/project management and so on. What are the skills a ‘modern’ information and records manager ‘needs’ and what is your ability with those skills? Do you know how to find out what your abilities are and how to improve them?
In this session we’ll go through what some of the most useful skills are for a modern information and records manager, how you can determine if you are currently doing them (and your ability at doing them). We’ll also look at some ways in which you can develop these skills and resources to assist you.
